Privacy Policy

How SubReady collects, uses and protects your personal data — written in plain English.

Last updated: 2026 · This is a template policy. Please obtain professional legal review before launch.

In short: We’re building SubReady with privacy and data protection in mind. We aim to collect only what we need, we don’t sell your data, and you stay in control of your bank connections and accountant access. Bank sync is read-only where applicable, and SubReady does not move money or make payments.

1. Who we are

SubReady is a record-keeping platform operated by Aigenticura Ltd (“SubReady”, “we”, “us”), registered in England & Wales. We are the data controller for personal data processed through our website and, where applicable, our product. SUBREADY is the subject of a UK trademark application (UK00004398313).

2. What data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Enquiry & waitlist details — your name, email, role and any message you send through our forms.
  • Marketing preferences — whether you have opted in to receive updates (separate from your enquiry).
  • Product data (where you use the product) — records you create, such as receipts, invoices, income, expenses, deductions and job records, and, where you choose to connect it, read-only bank transaction data.
  • Technical data — limited information needed to operate and secure the site, such as your cookie-consent choice. We do not set analytics or marketing cookies unless you opt in.

3. Why we use it & our legal bases

We use your data to respond to enquiries, operate the waitlist and early-access programme, provide and improve the product, keep the service secure, and — only if you opt in — send you marketing updates. Depending on the activity, our legal basis is typically one of: your consent, the performance of a contract, or our legitimate interests in running and improving SubReady. Where we rely on consent (for example, marketing), you can withdraw it at any time.

4. Bank connections & accountant access

You stay in control of your bank connections and accountant access at all times.

  • Where bank sync is offered, it is intended to be read-only where applicable. SubReady does not move money, initiate payments or provide payment services.
  • Sharing records with an accountant only happens with your permission. You choose what to share and can revoke access.
  • Bank connections may be provided via a regulated third-party provider; where this applies, their handling of your data is governed by their own terms and policies.

5. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us run SubReady (for example, secure cloud hosting and email), with your accountant or partners where you have given permission, and where required by law. Any providers act under appropriate agreements and only process data on our instructions.

6. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law. If you ask us to delete your enquiry data and we have no legal reason to keep it, we will.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we’ll respond within the timeframes required by law.

8. Security

We use secure, modern cloud infrastructure and take a data-minimisation approach — aiming to collect only what we need. While no system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, we design with privacy and data protection in mind and keep our practices under review.

9. Contact & complaints

For any privacy question or to make a data request, email [email protected]. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

This Privacy Policy is provided as a starting template. We recommend professional legal review before launch. We will not describe SubReady as “GDPR compliant” as a guarantee — instead, we build with privacy and data protection in mind and keep improving.
